If you ever wondered what it felt like to hike through Rome 2000 years ago, then this Urban hike is for you!
Start in the hip and trendy neighborhood Pigneto and follow an ancient aqueduct, which will lead us to the so-called “Parco degli Acquedotti” – an epic, ancient Roman park where you’ll experience a surreal mix of nature and several ancient aqueducts, and on days with good weather, a beautiful mountain backdrop.
– Where: This experience is one-way and will begin at the Subway Station Pigneto (C-Line) and finish close to the Subway station “Giulio Agricola” (A-Line).
– When: Daily @ 8.30amTime: about 3 hours (the exact time varies, depending on the weather conditions and participants)
– Cost: Full price: 25€ – public transport ticket not included

The starting point is Pigneto (Metro C) – online booking is required.
Meeting time 15 minutes prior to departure.

– Difficulty Level: Easy (Distance: 9km/5 miles, includes uneven terrain)
The final duration of the hiking event and the itinerary may vary, depending on weather conditions, unexpected obstacles (e.g. a fallen tree along the way), or other safety reasons. It is at the discretion of the professional hiking guide to determine alternatives or to shorten or extend the experience.
This is a professional activity in accordance with European Union legislation and Italian law no. 4 dating to 2003. With a professional guide enrolled in the register of the Italian Association of Interpretive Nature Guides – AIGAE.
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?
– Obligatory: Comfortable hiking/walking shoes, 1.5 liters of water, clothing suited for an outdoor hike, backpack
– Recommended: Comfortable backpack, raincoat, sunscreen, hat (protection from both sun and rain), trail snacks, tickets for public transport
– Optional: Hiking poles, electrolytes, sunglasses
