I Tarocchi sono un’arte che non si lascia imprigionare da nessun genere di rigidità: gli Arcani che li compongono sono uno specchio e non una verità di per sé. Sono camaleonti, si trasformano per adattarsi a chi li osserva.
Le fotografie che compongono Il Matto è Il Mondo – Tarocchi sono state create camminando attraverso ogni Arcano col fine di restare fedeli e insieme tradire costantemente l’iconografia originaria dei Tarocchi unendo tarologia, stage-photography e diario fotografico.
I Trionfi, o Arcani Maggiori, formano una narrazione che condensa in sé tutte le esperienze che un essere umano può vivere nell’arco della propria esistenza poiché espressione di un completo cammino iniziatico.
In questo lavoro, attraverso l’immagine fotografica, ci si appropria delle fasi di tale cammino immaginando i Trionfi al di fuori della loro stessa carta. Sono qui resi vivi e fatti di carne, vengono osservati dentro i loro stessi abiti ed oltre il riquadro del foglio che li contiene.
All’interno del cofanetto, oltre ai 22 Arcani Maggiori, un libretto con la funzione di guida introduce in breve la storia dei Tarocchi ed illustra la composizione e le caratteristiche del mazzo di carte, descrivendo, inoltre, ogni figura attraverso delle parole chiave, un breve testo e alcune domande che la carta può ispirare. Nel secondo libretto un saggio di Emanuele E. Pelilli e un racconto breve di Alessandro Carrer sono un ulteriore approfondimentosul tema.

Venerdì 14 marzo la Terra sarà illuminata da una chiarificante Luna Piena posizionata nel segno della Vergine.In occasione di questo Plenilunio, martedì 11 marzo, creeremo uno spazio in cui sia possibile mostrarsi attraverso l’astrologia, che non è qui strumento divinatorio, ma di scoperta, di esplorazione e condivisione.
I Pleniluni sono un momento ideale per riflettere su di sé poiché rappresentano un ciclo che giunge al termine: da qui l’idea di creare un cerchio per osservare come astri e Zodiaco risuonino in noi e cosa può succedere se usiamo questi strumenti come specchi e non come oracoli pronti a raccontarci il nostro destino.
Durante la serata apriremo un cerchio per rispondere alle domande che il Plenilunio ci pone. Le riflessioni che il cerchio apre saranno ispirate principalmente dal posizionamento di Sole e Luna e dalle energie che si mettono in moto grazie ai segni zodiacali in cui i due luminari si trovano, in questo caso siamo nell’asse Vergine-Pesci, quindi tra realtà e immaginazione. I segni più influenzati dal Plenilunio saranno dunque i mobili, ovvero: Gemelli, Vergine, Sagittario e Pesci!
Infine chi vorrà, potrà leggere ad alta voce le risposte al cerchio per condividere la propria esperienza, per poi bruciare il foglio sotto la luna.

The Tarot is an art that does not allow itself to be imprisoned by any kind of rigidity: the Arcana that compose them are a mirror and not a truth in themselves. They are chameleons, transforming themselves to adapt to the observer.
The photographs that make up The Fool is the World – Tarot have been created by walking through each Arcana in order to remain faithful to and at the same time constantly betray the original iconography of the Tarot, combining tarology, stage-photography and photographic diary.
The Triumphs, or Major Arcana, form a narrative that condenses in itself all the experiences that a human being can live through in the arc of his or her existence as an expression of a complete initiatory journey.
In this work, through the photographic image, we take possession of the stages of that journey by imagining the Triumphs outside their own map. They are here brought to life and made flesh, they are observed inside their own clothes and beyond the frame of the paper that contains them.
Inside the box, in addition to the 22 Major Arcana, a booklet acting as a guide briefly introduces the history of the Tarot and illustrates the composition and characteristics of the pack of cards, describing each figure through key words, a short text and some questions that the card may inspire. In the second booklet, an essay by Emanuele E. Pelilli and a short story by Alessandro Carrer provide further insighton the theme.

On Friday 14 March, the Earth will be illuminated by a brightening Full Moon positioned in the sign of Virgo.On the occasion of this Plenilune, on Tuesday 11 March, we will create a space in which it is possible to show ourselves through astrology, which is not a divinatory tool here, but an instrument of discovery, exploration and sharing.
Plenilunes are an ideal time for self-reflection as they represent a cycle coming to an end: hence the idea of creating a circle to observe how the stars and the Zodiac resonate within us and what can happen if we use these instruments as mirrors and not as oracles ready to tell us our destiny.
During the evening we will open a circle to answer the questions that the Plenilune poses to us. The reflections that the circle opens will be inspired mainly by the positioning of the Sun and Moon and the energies that are set in motion thanks to the zodiacal signs in which the two luminaries are found, in this case we are in the Virgin-Fish axis, therefore between reality and imagination. The signs most influenced by the Plenilune will therefore be the mobile ones, namely Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces!
Finally, those who wish can read aloud the answers to the circle to share their experience, and then burn the paper under the moon.
